This beautiful card uses a new stamp set from the
January-June mini catalog called Dainty Delight. It also features the
Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper which you can get for FREE in
January/February with any $50 purchase (not including tax and shipping).
This is an unusual fold and works nicely with lots of
different papers. Here are the instructions:
Basic white – 5 ½ X 4 ¼ (back
base)
8 X 4 ¼ - score at 2” and 6” (Gate fold layer)
3 ½ X 3 ¾ (inside layer)
Designer Series Paper #1
- 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 –
Glue this to the white back base
Coordinating cardstock strip 5 ½ X 2 – wrap ribbon on
linen thread around this and tie in a bow on the right side, then center on the
base and attach.
Designer Series Paper #2 Cut four strips 1 7/8 X 4 1/8
– glue to the front openings and inside openings.
Decorate the inside layer however you’d like and
attach. I used a stamp from the Dainty Delight stampset and colored the
different flowers using Stampin Write markers, then give it a “huff” and stamp
it. That is how you get the different colors on one stamp. Do not
use Stampin Blends for this – because they are alcohol based, they won’t work
and they’ll stain your stamp.
Cut two pieces for the strip in the front (I used sparkle
paper) ¾” x 2 ½ and ¾ x 2. The longer piece goes on the left side.
Glue to about 1/4” from the edge and use a piece for a greeting that will
“catch” the other side and hold it down.
You can watch the u tube video on my channel “NetteP
Stampin” or the tape of the facebook live
dated December 28, 2022 if you get hung up on any of the
instructions.
If you didn’t get the mini catalog or the
Sale-A-Bration catalog, let me know and I’ll get one out to you. Or check out my online store at NetteP.stampinup.net click "shop".
