Isn't it just a beautiful tropical feeling day today! Today's card and video is going to be using the Timeless Tropical stamps and dies and Designer Series Paper. You’ll see two ways to make a “ribbon card”. I have a cutting list for both cards right after the picture and a video follows to show you the process. If you enjoy these tutorials, don’t forget to follow my page and add your email ——-> even if I already have it, this will show me who is watching!
For these cards, I used So Saffron (Soft Seafoam) for the base. Cut 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and score at 4 1/4.
You'll also need a scrap of the same color for your greeting.
Real Red 5 1/2 X 3 1/4 and a 2 1/2 square scrap. (Pretty Peacock for the second card)
Designer Series Paper 5 1/2 X 3.
6 1/2" piece of coordinating ribbon.
I used the Label me Fancy punch for the greeting and the slots. The Label me Lovely punch is the larger one in the background where the ribbon passes through. Both were introduced in the Occasions mini catalog and will be in the new annual catalog.

I really liked these 2 cards especially since I have the stamp set, paper & dies. I like how you have the camera turned for a horizonal view. Your demo can be seen much better. Could you post the names of the punches again please? The punch you used for the ribbon is a great idea. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Annette! It looked and sounded perfect. You would have made a perfect teacher.
