Happy New Year!!! Hello Stampers! I was dabbling in Pinterest the other day - of course that’s more like a really big rabbit hole than a dabble. I came across this really neat card done by Messy Creations and I thought it was really good use of the Corner Bouquet stamp set in the Sale A Bration Brochure. So I made a stencil/mask to use to come up with a similar card. I’ll show you how I did that.
The other card uses Stampin markers, the water based markers to bring color to the flowers in the stamps. Both are beautiful cards and I’ll show you how to make them in the video. The techniques are great to use for many cards, so even if you don’t have this stamp set, watch the video for some neat ideas.
Host code XFFW2Z2B is in effect until January 15th. If you need a catalog, let me know and I’ll get one right out to you. Email me at nettep2020@gmail.com
Here’s the video.
If you like the cards that I made here, let me know. I’ll pick a name from the comments I get and that person will get the cards.
Are you finding some last minute needs for cards? Looking for something really quick to make? I have TWO solutions. First, there is a very impressive “origami” style Christmas tree card. I can’t take the credit for this one, many other demonstrators also have this on their blogs and my friend Debbie made some and showed them to me and I just had to make some. They really are fun and so nice, I just had to pass it on.
Next is a card that shows BOTH side of your pretty designer series paper. It is also so quick and easy you could make a bunch very quickly. This one is a great layout to use any time you have pretty paper you want to use.
The Host code for December and into January is XFFW2Z2B. Use it only if your order is less than $150. If your order is over that, you get the rewards.
Merry Christmas to all and have a Happy and Healthy 2021.
Here is a quick layout to use up some of that pretty designer paper. I have found that if I cut it to card size (4 x 5 1/4 for the first layer). I tend to use it quicker. Otherwise if I leave it in the 12 x 12 packet, I hoard it. I have an awful big supply building. Cutting it up to use it up...
Do you find yourself hoarding that beautiful paper you love?
Have you started your Christmas Cards? I’m going to help.
The video below is shows you how to make a stunning wreath card for Christmas. But in case you don’t want to get the dies and embossing folders and designer paper, I’m making a kit where I’ve cut all the parts for you. The only thing you need is a holiday greeting stamp and a stamp pad.
Yes! I’ve created a kit similar to what I use at my live events, but since we aren’t doing live events now, I’ll mail you what you need. You will get all the pieces to make two each of the following three cards.
Your kit will include everything you need to make six cards. You add the stamped greeting and you’ll need adhesives. The kit is $15.00. Send me an email to let me know you want one and I’ll mail it out to you. You can send a check or pay with pay pal to Nettep2020@gmail.com.
Here is the video showing the first card.
I’m really looking forward to being able to do in person workshops soon. Especially with Sale-A-Bration coming up. We’ve gotten a sneak peek into some of the new offerings and they are really WOW!!!
So I’m hoping this will help ease the pain of missing the workshops.
November host code is 2SGQ4K9H. Use it if your order is under $150. I’ll send you a card with some nice embellishments for any order over $50. If it is over $150, don’t use the host code, you get the rewards.
If you aren’t already following - sign up to the right to follow me with e mail. It will let you know when I put something new on my website.
Today’s card is a beautiful fun fold card using all the colors of fall. Watch the video to see how it’s done and some other examples of the same layout with other stamp sets.

Hello Stampers! Last week I showed you the new Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine. I showed you how very nice and smooth this machine cuts. This week, I’m going to use the Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine to emboss. I also got a magnetic plate that we are going to try out to see how well that works. But, before I get going with that, I decided that constantly saying Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine is just too much of a mouthful all the time - so I want to name the machine.
That’s right. Let’s give it a name. Something that’s easy to say when I’m doing a demo would be great. Phoebe, Fred, Dino, get creative! The person who submits the winning name also win a prize! So, come on, give me some ideas. Use your imagination. Don’t even know it it’s a boy, girl, or neutral. You decide. Add your ideas to the comments here, or e mail me at nettep2020@gmail.com. Enter as often as you wish but send your ideas to me by September 25 th. You will go down in history as the person who named my Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine. So you get naming rights, bragging rights, and a PRIZE!

Aren’t these SWEET? They are made with the Little Treat Box Dies and Pampered Pets Designer Series Paper. A little woven red ribbon and Pampered Pet trinkets completes the treat box.
The video below shows you how and demonstrates the new Die cutting and embossing machine in action.
I’ll be sure to show some more treat boxes. These would be adorable for Halloween treats and for little office gifts - a small bottle of hand sanitizer just fits perfectly, as does small chocolates.

On to the Peonies - Today’s video features the beautiful Peonies suite. Even if you don’t have the stamps and dies in this suite, be sure to watch the video for some tips on shading your dies cuts to make them “pop” from the page. I also talked a little about layout. When you find a layout that you like, you can use that same layout for many many cards.
For example, in the card below, I use my standard card size 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. Then I use a layer of DSP cut to 5 1/4 X 4. I take a contrasting piece of DSP or cardstock cut to 2 x 4 1/4 and finish the bottom. Then I place either a die cut piece or a larger banner at the top and either a ribbon or a sentiment below it and it is always the same layout but never looks like the same card.
As you build your stamping experiences, you add to your standard layouts and that gives you the starting inspiration.
Hope this give you some inspiration. If you have questions or need a catalog, email me at Nettep2020@gmail.com.
If you want to place an order, click the link to you right or go to nettep.stampinup.net. Please make sure my name comes up as your demonstrator. I do appreciate your business.

Hope you are surviving the heat. One of my favorite items in the coloring tools are the watercolor pencils. They can really stretch your colors when you are limited in ink.
Stampin Up! Has two sets each with different colors and they pretty much cover all the basics. You really need a set of Blender Pens with the pencils. They come three in a pack for $12 and are really magic! I’m going to show you how to use them in the attached video. I used the Zany Zebras stamp set for a super simple card to show you the technique. This set is shown in the Beginners Brochure. Contact me for a copy.
The Hostess Code for July is BHDJNSW7
Don’t forget. Spend $50 in July in the catalog and get a $5 coupon to use in August.
Wow! What a heat wave! Great to be either in the pool - or of course, in the air conditioning making cards.
I have a really beautiful product to share with you today. The Boho Indigo medley of products is a complete set with everything you need to make dozens of cards and it is fabulous. I love the color blue and this gives so many beautiful blue prints it is well...fabulous.
The video shows you all you get with the medley and shows why this really is a great deal.
Don’t forget, this weekend is my BOGO sale. I changed how I’m doing it just a little. You can do it as I originally explained, pick what you want from my discounted stamp sets and you get dollar for dollar credit toward an item in the catalog. Or you can order from the catalog and get dollar for dollar credit toward the discounted stamp sets. Either way you are getting free stuff!
Also, every $50 order from the catalog on line in July gets you a $5 coupon to use in August. And the Holiday catalog is available for orders beginning August 4th.
Lots going on. So here is one of the cards from the Boho Indigo product medley.
Here is the video.
Hope to see you Friday or Saturday at the BOGO sale.
The Ridiculously Awesome stamp set is great! No pictures - just greetings, but they are so uplifting and inspiring that you can use them for just about anything. The fonts are big, so they can be the only thing on the front of a card with some pretty designer series paper. Let me show you.
First, pick your designer series paper and pull two colors from it that you like. You start with the 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 base scored at 4 1/4 in one of your colors. Cut a piece 5 1/4 X 4 in the other color. Then cut the DSP 5 X 3 3/4. You will cut a scalloped oval in your base color and a plain oval in whisper white. Layer the papers, attach a ribbon and tie a bow in a coordinating color. Stamp the sentiment and attach it with dimensional. I’ll show you all of it in the video.
I’ve also added a few tips for organizing/storing your craft material. I really find the plastic boxes at craft stores in 6X6 and 12X12 to be handy for paper and all the bits and bobs. More on that in the video.
Bonus days - Stampin Up! Is having bonus days. That means for every $50 you spend in the rest of July, you get a $5 coupon to use in August.
Hostess Code for July - BHDJNSW7. Use this code if you place an order during the month of July (under $150) If over $150, you keep the rewards.
Don’t forget about the BOGO sale at my house.

Today’s project is some cute little notecards using the “Better than” bundle. This is such a sweet bundle featuring all our favorites: Cookies, Chocolate, Coffee, and of course, Cocktails. I used Stampin’ Up! notecards and envelopes for the base, making it super simple. The video shows how to keep it simple or jazz it up and make it as elaborate as you want. I also show you a couple of tips for working with dies.
I love the “Playing with Patterns” designer series paper and ribbon combo pack. They use beautiful, bright colors, and of course coordinate beautifully.

Wow! Just spent a good part of the weekend in an on-line workshop where we made lots of cards with sets in the new catalog. I have so many ideas my head is spinning!
I decided to start with some super simple cards made with a set in the Stampin’ Up! Beginners Brochure called Cute Fruit.
These are really easy cards to make. Use the colors from the classic Stampin spots assortment on page 7 of the Beginners Brochure. You can add to and embellish as you like.

It is Hot! I’m not complaining, I love it. But I am staying indoors to play with my new stamps. I get to call it work too! You can’t beat it.
My video today features the Field of Flowers bundle. This is the stamp and coordinations punch. Sorry, I goofed filming the video. I had my phone in the holder wrong and it is the smaller picture. But here is the video and after, the measurements for both cards are included.

Memorial Day marks the beginning of summer for many. Celebrations this year will be quite different from previous years. Public pools are not opening, no large neighborhood parties. But the true spirit of Memorial Day will remain in our minds and hearts. Remember those who fought and died defending our country. Thanks to all veterans.
Have a wonderful holiday and a terrific summer!

The Botanical Prints Medley of products is on sale!!!! Yep - you get $70 worth of great stuff for $42. Included in the set is a stamp set and coordinating dies, 48 pieces of 6 x 6 designer series paper - really pretty prints, laser cut outs, ribbon, and cute little bee embellishments. It really is a great bargain. But it won’t last!!! It was in the Occasions Mini Catalog and those items are no longer for sale after the first of June. Also, this is until supplies run out and at this price they probably will go fast. So check it out. The video shows it all.

For these cards I used 2019-2021 In-colors Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose, and Purple Posy cardstock. I used Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose, and Highland heather ink. Here are the cutting dimensions and the video:
Card base: 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 score at 4 1/4 (your choice of cardstock, I used the colors as noted above).
Basic Black: 5 1/4 X 4 and 2 1/4 X 3
Whisper White: 5 1/4 X 4 for the inside and 5 X 3 3/4 for stamping and a scrap for the greeting
Designer Series Paper: 2 1/8 X 2 7/8 (I used the 2019-2021 in color DSP stack for this).
I used the Label Me Fancy punch for the greeting.

Isn't it just a beautiful tropical feeling day today! Today's card and video is going to be using the Timeless Tropical stamps and dies and Designer Series Paper. You’ll see two ways to make a “ribbon card”. I have a cutting list for both cards right after the picture and a video follows to show you the process. If you enjoy these tutorials, don’t forget to follow my page and add your email ——-> even if I already have it, this will show me who is watching!
For these cards, I used So Saffron (Soft Seafoam) for the base. Cut 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and score at 4 1/4.
You'll also need a scrap of the same color for your greeting.
Real Red 5 1/2 X 3 1/4 and a 2 1/2 square scrap. (Pretty Peacock for the second card)
Designer Series Paper 5 1/2 X 3.
6 1/2" piece of coordinating ribbon.
I used the Label me Fancy punch for the greeting and the slots. The Label me Lovely punch is the larger one in the background where the ribbon passes through. Both were introduced in the Occasions mini catalog and will be in the new annual catalog.

What a beautiful weekend! I spent a lot of time outside, reading in the pavillion, playing with the dogs, working in the garden.
I also spent some stamping time. I pulled out some of the stamp sets that are not retiring and found that Mountain Air will be in the new catalog. This was originally in the occasions mini catalog. I wasn’t sure I was really very fond of it until I really started playing around with it. I’m liking it now. This is what I came up with.
The stamps are reversible so you can really add some nice shadows and effects. It took some doing but I like the finished product.

Well, today I’m just reviewing the Timeless Tulip cards that I posted the last couple of days and I realized that I didn’t put the video with the column card. So I added that. What a pretty card. Check out the video. It shows how to create the column for any card you want to make - doesn’t have to be the timeless tulips. It also shows masking so you don’t cover one stamped image with another.
I do get inspiration from Pinterest and Facebook. I watch videos and other tutorials and then I do things to the cards to make them a little different and post them here for you with the instructions. Hope you find it helpful. I’d love it if you’d tell me what you think (these are my first attempts so be kind) and share with your friends. Thanks so much.
I spent yesterday working in the flower garden. Spring is such a beautiful time! I just love watching the flowers grow... And its almost time for the Fairy garden to appear.

This technique gives you a stunning card! I used the timeless tulip stamps and rich dazzle berry ink and paper for the first one and the timeless tropical stamps and Rococo Rose ink and paper for the second.
Cut the base card stock 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 and score at 4 1/4
Cut two pieces of whisper white at 4 X 5 1/4 - one for the front and one for the inside.
I ran the front piece through the embosser using the “subtles” embossing folder after all the stamping was finished and before I attached it to the front.
