Better Than...

Happy Tuesday!
Today’s project is some cute little notecards using the “Better than” bundle.  This is such a sweet bundle featuring all our favorites:  Cookies, Chocolate, Coffee, and of course, Cocktails.   I used Stampin’ Up! notecards and envelopes for the base, making it super simple.  The video shows how to keep it simple or jazz it up and make it as elaborate as you want.   I also show you a couple of tips for working with dies.

I love the “Playing with Patterns” designer series paper and ribbon combo pack.  They use beautiful, bright colors, and of course coordinate beautifully.

Cute Fruit Beginners Brochure #simplestamping

Wow!  Just spent a good part of the weekend in an on-line workshop where we made lots of cards with sets in the new catalog.  I have so many ideas my head is spinning!

I decided to start with some super simple cards made with a set in the Stampin’ Up! Beginners Brochure called Cute Fruit.

These are really easy cards to make.  Use the colors from the classic Stampin spots assortment on page 7 of the Beginners Brochure.  You can add to and embellish as you like.

Field of Flowers Bundle. Two quick and easy cards

Hello Stamping Friends!  

It is Hot!  I’m not complaining, I love it.  But I am staying indoors to play with my new stamps.  I get to call it work too!  You can’t beat it.  

My video today features the Field of Flowers bundle.  This is the stamp and coordinations punch.  Sorry, I goofed filming the video.  I had my phone in the holder wrong and it is the smaller picture.  But here is the video and after, the measurements for both cards are included.

There is also a PDF version of the Beginners Brochure.  Check this out.  Even if you are not a beginner stamper, there are some really cool kits and stamp sets and coordinating items in this brochure so take a look.

Sneak Peek

It’s Here...tomorrow!

Hello Stampers!  So much is happening, I can’t wait to tell you!

You should have received your new catalog by now.  If not, drop me a line via email and I’ll see that you get one ASAP!  Ordering from the new annual catalog starts tomorrow and I am excited.  There are so many beautiful new things.  Meanwhile, I have a couple of sample projects I made using some of the new products that I was able to pre-order as a demonstrator.  (More on that later.)

The first two cards use a new “In-Color”, Misty Moonlight, as the base.

The next card is all texture, something there is a lot of in the new catalog.

This is just a preview.  Let me know which is your favorite and I’ll be sure to put a tutorial on a future blog post.
